Stellantis U.S. sales rise 5% in first half of 2026
Stellantis (NYSE: STLA) reported total U.S. sales of 634,345 vehicles in the first half of 2026, a 5% increase compared to the same period in 2025, according to a company press release. Second-quarter sales rose 6% year over year to 328,284 units, while June sales increased 10% compared to June 2025.
The Ram brand posted the largest gains among major labels, with total brand sales up 11% in Q2 to 123,147 units. Ram pickup truck sales increased 14% in the quarter to 109,166 units. The Chrysler brand saw Q2 sales jump 80% to 41,710 units, driven largely by the Pacifica, which recorded 41,704 sales in the quarter.
The Jeep brand reported a Q2 decline of 5% to 140,699 units, though the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer combined rose 57% in the quarter to 14,905 units. The Dodge brand fell 15% in Q2 to 21,818 units, while the Charger nameplate posted a 404% increase to 2,911 units as the battery-electric version declined 88% to 294 units.
Alfa Romeo sales dropped 32% in Q2 to 828 units. Fiat brand sales fell 79% in the quarter to 82 units.
"We delivered incremental market share gains over the first half of 2025, fueled by Q2 year-over-year increases in retail sales of Jeep Grand Wagoneer (+43%), Ram 1500 (+9%), Dodge Durango (+9%) and Chrysler Pacifica (+7%)," said Michael Orange, head of U.S. retail sales and network performance.
Stellantis said the sales results support targets outlined in its FaSTLAne 2030 strategic plan, which calls for 35% volume growth and 25% revenue growth through 2030, along with the launch of 11 new vehicles in North America over the same period.
