NextBoat Inc. (NYSE American: NXB) announced a partnership with MarineMax, Inc. (NYSE: HZO) that designates NextBoat as MarineMax's preferred wholesale and trade-in partner, according to a press release issued July 1, 2026.

Under the agreement, MarineMax will route a share of its trade-in and pre-owned inventory through the NextBoat AI platform, where vessels are evaluated, marketed, and sold to a nationwide network of wholesale buyers. MarineMax, which the company describes as the world's largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, operates more than 120 locations worldwide and reported over $2.3 billion in annual revenue.

The NextBoat platform offers AI-powered vessel valuations, wholesale bidding, real-time transaction management, and analytics tools. The partnership also includes an arrangement with Newcoast, MarineMax's finance and insurance arm, to provide financing and insurance on transactions originating through the platform.

"For 15 years, I've believed the marine industry deserved the same technology, transparency and scale that transformed automotive retail," said Jason Ruegg, Founder and Executive Chairman of NextBoat.

Kyle Langbehn, Executive Vice President and President of Retail Operations at MarineMax, said the integration of NextBoat's technology is expected to improve efficiency in pre-owned retail and drive finance and insurance revenue through Newcoast.

NextBoat, headquartered in Wilmington, North Carolina, was founded in 2012 and previously operated as Off The Hook YS Inc. Its business includes boat brokerage, wholesale inventory acquisition, auctions, financing, and marine services.
