Tipmont REMC to deploy Calix One AI platform for operations
Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) announced that Tipmont REMC, an Indiana-based electric cooperative, will deploy the Calix One platform, including Calix Agent Workforce Cloud, as part of an expansion of their eight-year partnership.
Tipmont plans to use the platform's agentic AI capabilities to unify marketing, operations, and support functions as it expands into new residential and small business markets. The cooperative currently holds a Net Promoter Score of 92 and a customer satisfaction score of 4.9 out of 5.
Ron Holcomb, president and CEO of Tipmont, said: "With agentic workflows on Calix One, we can bring our teams closer together and engage members securely and efficiently. Calix helps us streamline operations while keeping the personal connection that defines us as a leading Midwest cooperative."
According to the announcement, Tipmont aims to use the platform to streamline member onboarding and retention, deliver personalized SmartHome experiences, and improve go-to-market execution without adding headcount.
Tipmont received a 2024 Customer Innovations Award from Calix, which the company said recognizes service providers that deliver measurable business outcomes. The cooperative has also donated more than $1 million to local organizations through its Operation Round Up initiative.
Michael Weening, president and CEO of Calix, said: "With the Calix One platform, Tipmont will be able to go faster, leveraging secure agentic workflows to create more meaningful experiences at every touchpoint."
Calix states that more than 1,200 customers use its Calix One platform, which has been developed over 15 years at a total investment of more than $2 billion, according to the company.
