Silicom Ltd. (NASDAQ: SILC) has received its first production order for an AI inference solution, with delivery scheduled for 2026, according to a company press release.

The Israel-based networking and data infrastructure company said the order brings its total expected AI inference revenues for 2026 into the "multi-million-dollar range." The company did not disclose the customer or the specific financial value of the order.

Silicom said the order marks a transition from evaluation and development to commercial production for its AI inference business and that the timeline is ahead of its original schedule.

"Receiving this initial production order for an AI inference solution is a landmark milestone for Silicom," said CEO Liron Eizenman. "It validates our technology and confirms that our solutions directly address the real-world performance challenges facing today's most sophisticated AI inference architectures."

The company said it is advancing additional AI inference engagements with other customers and expects revenues from that segment to grow in 2027 and beyond.
