Norton, part of Gen (NASDAQ: GEN), has integrated its Norton Genie scam detection tool into Claude, the AI assistant developed by Anthropic, according to a company press release.

The integration allows Claude users to submit suspicious emails, text messages, links, and images for analysis. Norton Genie evaluates language patterns, urgency cues, impersonation attempts, social engineering tactics, and requests for sensitive information. It also performs URL and domain analysis to inspect destination sites and assess trust signals.

Users can enable the feature by activating the Norton Connector within Claude. The integration is available across all tiers of the Claude platform.

By bringing Norton Genie into even more AI platforms like Claude and ChatGPT, we're making trusted Cyber Safety intelligence available directly in those moments to help people make more confident decisions in real time."

Norton introduced a similar integration with ChatGPT earlier in 2026. The Claude integration marks a further expansion of the tool into AI assistant platforms.
