Arlo expands Aloe Care partnership with Home Helpers Home Care
Arlo Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ARLO) announced an expanded partnership between its Aloe Care Health unit and Home Helpers® Home Care, a nationwide in-home care provider operating in more than 1,500 U.S. communities.
The expansion centers on Aloe Care's ConnectAI wellness calling solution, which will be added to Home Helpers' Direct Link® product line, powered by Aloe Care's technology suite. Home Helpers has used Aloe Care's voice-activated medical alert and communication technology since 2022.
ConnectAI will provide proactive wellness check-in calls, medication reminders, and care insights through Aloe Care's Smart Hub, mobile phones, and landlines. The solution is intended to automate routine monitoring tasks and generate alerts for care teams when issues are identified.
"ConnectAI is designed to help organizations make care more proactive, personal, and scalable," said Evan Schwartz, SVP at Arlo Technologies. "By combining conversational AI with the in-person work of Home Helpers' professional Caregivers, we are helping improve outcomes, reduce avoidable falls and emergencies, and keeping older adults more meaningfully connected."
"Continuous innovation in home care is essential to meeting the evolving needs of the clients and families we serve," said Alan Wilson, Senior Director of Technology Solutions at Home Helpers Home Care. "We're proud to help lead the way in bringing innovations like ConnectAI to market."
The ConnectAI addition is part of Home Helpers' Cared-4 program, which is designed to help clients remain safe and independent at home. According to the company's press release, stated benefits include reduced preventable hospitalizations, lower staff workload, and scalability across organizations of varying sizes.
