Plus Therapeutics to rebrand as Cerenome, trade as CNSY on Aug. 3
Plus Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSTV), a healthcare company focused on central nervous system cancers, announced it will change its name to Cerenome and begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol CNSY on August 3, 2026. Shareholders are not required to take any action in connection with the change.
The company also affirmed its 2026 milestone guidance and reported commercial progress for its CNSide diagnostics platform, according to a press release issued June 30, 2026.
On the diagnostics side, CNSide's contracted insurance coverage has expanded to approximately 126 million covered lives following new agreements with Highmark, Blue Shield of California, and Elevance Health, up from roughly 67 million at the start of the year. The company said it remains on track to exceed 150 million covered lives by year-end. Year-to-date, 232 CNSide tumor cell enumeration tests have been performed, with June recording the highest monthly volume at 72 tests. The company targets a run rate of 1,250 tests per year by the end of 2026. CNSide Diagnostics also received its Medicare Provider Transaction Access Number on May 7, 2026, and a dedicated billing code takes effect July 1, 2026.
Regarding its lead therapeutic candidate, REYOBIQ (rhenium-186 obisbemeda), the company reported that 31 of a targeted 34 subjects have been enrolled in the ReSPECT-GBM Phase 2 trial. In the ReSPECT-LM Phase 2 trial, approximately one-third of the 12-to-18 patient target for optimal dose determination has been enrolled. First dosing in the ReSPECT-PBC pediatric brain cancer trial is expected in the third quarter of 2026, following approvals from the U.S. Department of Defense and an Institutional Review Board.
In May 2026, the company entered an agreement with Ephemeral Technologies to support data and artificial intelligence infrastructure development.
