Webull to acquire Pi Securities in Thailand for ~$100 million
Webull Corporation (NASDAQ: BULL) announced that its Thai subsidiary, Webull Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has signed an agreement to acquire Pi Securities Public Company Limited, a Thailand-based investment services firm with more than 50 years of operating history in the country's capital markets.
The acquisition will be conducted through a share purchase agreement between Webull Thailand's direct parent company and Country Group Holdings Public Company Limited, the controlling shareholder of Pi Securities. Under the terms of the deal, Webull will purchase all shares held by Country Group Holdings at a price that values Pi Securities at approximately $100 million. The transaction remains subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals, along with other customary closing conditions.
Webull Thailand disclosed the acquisition to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on June 29, 2026, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
Chonladet Khemarattana, Chief Executive Officer of Webull Thailand, said the deal would allow the company to "integrate Webull's strengths in technology, infrastructure, and platform development capabilities with Pi Securities' expertise in Thailand's capital markets, its investment product offerings, and its client service experience."
Webull Thailand is licensed to conduct securities business by Thailand's Ministry of Finance and is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission Thailand. The company is also a member of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Webull Corporation operates in 16 markets globally and reports more than 27 million registered users.
