Aurora Mobile's JPush deployed in CICC Wealth Management app
Aurora Mobile Limited (NASDAQ: JG) announced a partnership with China CICC Wealth Management Securities Company Limited to deploy its JPush push notification service within the CICC Wealth Management app, according to a company press release.
JPush will serve as the app's underlying message communication infrastructure, handling delivery of transaction reminders, compliance notifications, and investment research content to clients. The service supports Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, QuickApp, and Web platforms, and connects to manufacturer-level notification channels from Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Meizu, ASUS, and NIO Phone, alongside Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification Service.
CICC Wealth Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of China International Capital Corporation Limited focused on wealth management services. The firm cited reliability of critical transaction notifications and targeted distribution of investment content as key requirements behind the technology selection.
Aurora Mobile stated that its integration follows China's data security laws and cybersecurity requirements for the securities industry, using link encryption for messages transmitted over public networks.
On the development side, Aurora Mobile's software development kit handles compatibility updates across device brands, which the company said reduces maintenance demands on CICC Wealth Management's internal technology team.
Aurora Mobile, founded in 2011 and headquartered in Shenzhen, provides customer engagement and marketing technology services in China.
