Investing.com -- U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will travel to Doha to meet with Qatari mediators regarding U.S.-Iran negotiations, Qatar's foreign ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday.

The spokesperson confirmed that Witkoff and Kushner are in Doha but clarified that no high-level meeting between Washington and Tehran is planned at this time.

The two U.S. representatives will not meet directly with Iranian officials during their visit, according to the Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson.
