Tilray Brands acquires HelloMD to expand Canadian cannabis platform

June 29, 2026 5:13 PM

Tilray Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ: TLRY) announced the acquisition of HelloMD Corporation, a digital healthcare and patient engagement platform, following a formal court-supervised sale process. The acquisition received court approval on June 29, 2026.

HelloMD operates a telehealth platform that has provided medical cannabis consultations, educational resources, and patient support services to hundreds of thousands of patients in Canada. The deal gives Tilray a direct-to-patient digital channel that the company says will create a vertically integrated medical cannabis framework in Canada, connecting cultivation, physician support, product access, and fulfillment.

Blair MacNeil, President of Tilray Canada, said the combination of HelloMD's digital platform with Tilray's medical cannabis portfolio and fulfillment capabilities is intended to create "a more connected pathway for patients and healthcare practitioners in Canada."

Larry Lisser, CEO of HelloMD, said he believes Tilray "has the expertise, infrastructure, and drive to expand the platform's reach and impact, benefiting patients for years to come."

Tilray also indicated plans to use HelloMD's digital education tools to build awareness in wellness categories such as sleep support and pain management, subject to applicable regulations.

HelloMD's platform is expected to complement Tilray's existing global infrastructure, which includes EU-GMP certified cultivation and manufacturing, pharmaceutical distribution through CC Pharma, and patient access platforms across North America, Europe, Australia, and other international markets.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
