Corteva names nine-member board for planned crop protection spinoff
Corteva Inc. (NYSE: CTVA) has named a nine-member board of directors for its planned crop protection spinoff, with the separation targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026, according to a company statement.
Greg Page, retired chairman and chief executive of Cargill, Incorporated, will serve as independent chair of the new board. Luke Kissam, who is designated as the future chief executive of the new Corteva, will join the board effective at separation.
The remaining board members are: Klaus Engel, retired chief executive of Evonik Industries AG; David Everitt, retired president of the Agricultural and Turf Division at Deere & Co.; Janet Giesselman, retired president and general manager of Dow Oil & Gas; Jean-Marc Gilson, president and chief executive of Westlake Corporation; Nayaki Nayyar, chief executive of Siteimprove A/S; Christopher Policinski, retired president and chief executive of Land O'Lakes, Inc.; and Patrick Ward, retired chief financial officer of Cummins Inc.
Corteva said that Karen Grimes, Marcos Lutz, Chuck Magro, and Kerry Preete will not continue on the new company's board, while the remainder of Corteva's existing directors will stay with the parent company following the separation.
