Investing.com -- Anthropic said on Monday its Claude family of artificial intelligence models is now available in Microsoft Foundry on Azure, running on NVIDIA's GB300 Blackwell Ultra GPU systems, marking the AI startup's first deployment on NVIDIA hardware.

The availability gives Azure customers access to Claude models for building autonomous and domain-specific AI agents, as enterprises increase investment in agentic AI applications that automate complex business tasks. Anthropic said the deployment is designed to improve inference performance and efficiency while reducing the total cost of ownership for enterprise AI workloads.

The launch builds on a strategic partnership announced by Microsoft, NVIDIA and Anthropic in November to expand enterprise access to Claude models through NVIDIA-accelerated computing.

The models run on NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems with Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking, enabling customers to deploy more advanced AI agents, including specialized sub-agents that can operate across different business functions.

NVIDIA said it is also expanding its partnership with Anthropic by integrating its software tools into the Claude ecosystem. The collaboration includes NVIDIA Verified Agent Skills, allowing enterprises to equip Claude agents with domain-specific capabilities using NVIDIA-accelerated computing.

Customers can deploy Claude agents on Azure using NVIDIA's Secure Agent Workspace Reference Design, which provides infrastructure-level controls for identity, networking, credentials and runtime policies.
