Beyond Meat (NASDAQ: BYND) announced the retail launch of its Beyond Steak Filet at Wegmans and H-E-B grocery chains, marking the product's first availability in physical retail stores.

The plant-based whole-cut filet was first introduced on the company's direct-to-consumer website in October 2025. According to the company, the product became the top-selling item by unit sales on that site since its introduction.

Beyond Steak Filet is made with mycelium and avocado oil and contains 28 grams of plant protein, 3 grams of fiber, and 1 gram of saturated fat per serving. The product carries Non-GMO Project Verification and Clean Label Project Certification. It contains no added antibiotics or hormones.

"I believe Beyond Steak Filet is our most compelling center-of-the-plate innovation since the Beyond Burger," said Ethan Brown, founder and CEO of Beyond Meat. "The product marks the introduction of the powerhouse ingredient mycelium into our portfolio and delivers 28g of clean protein with just 1g of saturated fat from avocado oil."

Beyond Steak Filet is one of more than 20 products in the company's portfolio to have received Clean Label Project Certification, which the organization awards to products meeting its standards for ingredient purity and transparency.
