GameSquare renews Riot Games data and analytics contract
GameSquare Holdings (NASDAQ: GAME) announced that Riot Games has renewed and expanded its relationship with GameSquare's Stream Hatchet and Sideqik platforms, according to a company press release.
Riot Games has renewed its esports reporting relationship with Stream Hatchet, extending a partnership that dates back to 2019. Riot also re-signed its influencer teams for a third year across both Stream Hatchet and Sideqik platforms.
Stream Hatchet's tools are used across Riot's global esports event scheduling operations for League of Legends Esports and the VALORANT Champions Tour. The platform supports tracking of audience and viewership trends across more than 70 esports leagues and over 130 live esports events held annually, including the League of Legends World Championship and VALORANT Champions.
"What began as a longstanding esports reporting partnership through Stream Hatchet has expanded into a broader relationship that supports Riot's influencer teams with the full suite of Stream Hatchet and Sideqik tools," said Eduard Montserrat, CEO of Stream Hatchet.
The expanded agreement adds Sideqik's influencer intelligence and creator marketing capabilities to the existing analytics arrangement. GameSquare states the combined platform covers live streaming analytics, esports viewership measurement, creator discovery, influencer management, and campaign performance reporting.
