Mdxhealth SA (NASDAQ: MDXH) announced the peer-reviewed publication of the Oxford GPS-ProMPT study in European Urology Oncology, a journal focused on genitourinary oncology, according to a company press release dated June 29, 2026.

The study, titled "Genomic Prostate Score for identifying biologically low-risk disease in patients with prostate cancer undergoing active surveillance, surgery, or radiotherapy," evaluated 409 men with localized or locally advanced prostate cancer over more than six years. Patients were managed with active surveillance, radical prostatectomy, or radiotherapy.

Lead author Dr. Nikita Sushentsev of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said patients with favorable GPS mdx scores showed 92% freedom-from-failure at six years in active surveillance cohorts and up to 100% in surgery and radiotherapy cohorts, including among those with adverse clinical risk factors.

Mdxhealth said the publication serves as a scientific foundation for the GPS-ProtecT study, an ongoing collaboration with the University of Oxford that began GPS mdx testing in January 2026. The GPS-ProtecT study uses data from the UK ProtecT trial, which the company describes as a randomized clinical trial following more than 1,500 men with localized prostate cancer for over two decades.

Chief Executive Officer Michael K. McGarrity said the publication supports the company's efforts related to guideline development, payer coverage, and physician adoption of the GPS mdx test.

The GPS mdx test is a 17-gene expression assay performed on prostate biopsy tissue, designed to estimate risk of adverse pathology, metastasis, and prostate cancer death within 10 years, among other clinical measures.
