Faraday Future raises annual robot shipment target to 2,000 units
Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) reported that sales, shipments, and deliveries of its EAI robots reached 105 units in June, bringing cumulative volume from March through June to 242 units. The company said this exceeded its original target of 220 units for that period.
Following the result, the company raised its full-year shipment target to 2,000 units. According to a weekly investor update from Founder and Global CEO YT Jia, this marks the second upward revision to the annual target, after an earlier adjustment in April raised it from 1,000 units to 1,500 units.
The company also participated in the Automate trade show, where it showcased its Six-series EAI robot lineup, launched a new mobile manipulator, and previewed what it described as its EAI Robotics Industrial Ecosystem. Faraday Future said the appearance drew attention from potential partners and customers.
On the capital side, Faraday Future filed a new S-3 registration statement with the SEC ahead of the expiration of its original filing, which became effective in June 2023. The company stated that of the original $300 million registered amount, approximately $28 million was actually issued over the past three years. The filing is intended to maintain financing flexibility.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted Faraday Future a patent for its AIHER range-extending hybrid transmission system, which the company described as featuring a "range-extension-first, hybrid-assist" architecture.
The company plans to participate in ISTE Live 2026 in Orlando from June 29 to July 1, targeting collaboration with K–12 schools and educational institutions.
