Maris-Tech Ltd. (Nasdaq: MTEK, MTEKW) has been awarded a government defense contract to develop and supply a military standard vehicle-mounted audio-based system for armored fighting vehicles, according to a press release from the Israel-based company.

The contract, valued at approximately $350,000, marks the company's first as a prime contractor. Deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The system will support both live and pre-recorded audio distribution from the vehicle.

The contract expands Maris-Tech's portfolio beyond its existing edge video and AI products into vehicle audio systems for military use.

Chief Executive Officer Israel Bar said, "We believe that being selected by a governmental customer as a prime contractor reflects confidence in our engineering capabilities and our ability to deliver complete MIL-STD operational systems."
