Modular Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: MODD) announced that its Pivot tubeless insulin patch pump has begun shipping to physician offices for staff training, according to a company press release.

The company said starter kits are being sent to multiple endocrinology practices. Following training, the pumps are expected to be presented to potential patients within days to weeks. Modular Medical said it plans to expand the number of participating practices in the coming months.

The Pivot pump is designed for adults with diabetes who use daily injections and who have encountered cost, complexity, or usability barriers with traditional pump systems. The company estimates this group represents approximately 70% of insulin-dependent adults who remain on multiple daily injections.

A full commercial launch is expected to proceed in phases, initially targeting select high-volume endocrinology practices before expanding to select metropolitan markets by late 2026.
