DraftKings launches proprietary prediction markets exchange DKeX

June 26, 2026 7:30 AM

DraftKings Inc. (Nasdaq: DKNG) has launched a proprietary prediction markets exchange called DKeX, integrated into its unified DraftKings: Sports & Casino app, according to a company statement.

The exchange builds on technology and a CFTC license acquired through DraftKings' purchase of Railbird Technologies. DKeX operates under the company's wholly-owned subsidiary GUS III LLC, which offers federally regulated event contracts under CFTC oversight.

DraftKings reported that its Predictions segment is generating approximately $3.4 billion in annualized consumer volume and approximately $11.3 billion in annualized total trading volume for the week ended June 21. The company said it expects continued growth in July, citing platform enhancements, new event contracts, and interest in the World Cup.

Since launching a combinations feature in mid-May, which allows customers to bundle multiple individual contracts into a single position, more than 30% of customers have used it, according to the company.

"DKeX provides a vertically integrated foundation for DraftKings Predictions, strengthening our prediction markets content and capabilities, giving us greater control over the technology that powers those offerings, and enabling us to move faster as we continue enhancing our unified app," said Jason Robins, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of DraftKings.

Sports event contracts through DraftKings Predictions are currently available in 18 states. Recent additions to the platform include MLB player and futures contracts, No Runs First Inning baseball markets, broader NBA and NHL selections, and international sports offerings.

The company also added responsible engagement tools, including an in-app destination called My Budget and Controls for managing deposit limits and personalized activity alerts.
