June 25, 2026 4:05 PM

BILL (NYSE: BILL) announced that Jonathan Leaf will join the company as Chief Revenue Officer on July 6. In this newly created role, Leaf will oversee BILL's global revenue organization, including sales, marketing, embedded partnerships, and customer experience, reporting directly to CEO and Founder René Lacerte.

Leaf brings more than 25 years of experience in revenue, marketing, and customer experience roles. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at BambooHR. Before that, he held senior leadership positions at RingCentral, where he led teams responsible for more than $2 billion in annual recurring revenue, and at Amazon Web Services, where he scaled the Central U.S. Commercial business. He also spent nearly two decades in executive roles at Softchoice.

Leaf succeeds Chief Customer Officer Sarah Acton, who served on BILL's executive leadership team for nearly five years. Acton will transition to an advisory role to support the handover.

"Jonathan brings extensive experience in scaling revenue organizations to serve lower and mid-market SMBs, driving integrated platform sales, and leading high velocity GTM motions," said Lacerte in a statement based on the press release.

BILL describes itself as a financial operations platform used by nearly half a million businesses and more than 9,500 accounting firms, with a member network of more than 8 million. The company is headquartered in San Jose, California.
