Badger Technologies, a product division of Jabil Inc. (NYSE: JBL), has appointed John Gehre as Chief Executive Officer, according to a company statement. Gehre brings more than 25 years of retail executive experience, having held leadership roles at Bass Pro Shops, Michaels, The Container Store and H-E-B.

The Nicholasville, Ky.-based company also named Chris Green as Chief Commercial Officer and Paul Ambruso as Chief Technology Officer. Green has nearly three decades of experience in retail, SaaS and retail automation, while Ambruso previously held senior positions at Berkshire Grey, HP, Compaq and Lexmark.

"Having spent more than two decades on the frontlines of large retail organizations, I've seen firsthand how difficult it can be to make the right decisions when information is fragmented across teams, systems and stores," Gehre said.

Rafael Renno, Senior Vice President of Global Business Units at Jabil, said Gehre's background "uniquely positions him to lead Badger Technologies into its next chapter."

Alongside the executive appointments, Badger Technologies announced the formation of its inaugural Strategic Advisory Board, comprising seven members with backgrounds in retail operations, merchandising, supply chain and technology. Members include Pamela Kohn, former Chief Merchandising Officer at Rite Aid, Sally Beauty and Family Dollar; Jeff Williams, former Chief Retail Officer at Quotient; Michael Graen, a former Walmart and Procter & Gamble executive; Alex Yakulis, a consumer goods and retail executive; Suzy Monford, former Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Grocers Group; Randy Salley, former Senior Vice President of Walmart Technology; and Brand Elverston, former Director of Asset Protection Strategic Initiatives at Walmart.
