Conexeu Sciences Inc. (Nasdaq: CNXU), a preclinical-stage biotechnology company focused on tissue regeneration, has opened a research and development facility at adMare BioInnovations' M4 Innovation Centre in Vancouver, Canada.

The company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 23 to mark the opening. Conexeu is among the first tenants at the 30,000-square-foot facility, which provides laboratory infrastructure and shared scientific resources to life sciences companies.

Work at the new lab will focus on advancing the company's CXU™ regenerative tissue platform and its B.R.E.A.S.T.™ product, a 3D-bioprinted breast matrix designed to support natural tissue regeneration following mastectomy.

"This facility represents an important achievement for Conexeu and our mission to advance breakthrough regenerative tissue technologies," said Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Claudia Chavez-Munoz. "Our work here will strengthen our research and development capabilities as we advance our research programs with the potential to improve outcomes for patients across tissue regeneration, wound care, and breast reconstruction."

Conexeu describes its CXU™ platform as a thermosensitive extracellular matrix that remains fluid at room temperature and transitions to a gel at body temperature within approximately ten minutes. The company says the platform is supported by more than a decade of university preclinical research and holds issued patents in the U.S., European Union, Japan, and Australia.

The company said it is pursuing a predicate-based U.S. regulatory strategy, with an anticipated 510(k) submission planned for early 2027 for its initial indication, subject to regulatory review.
