Insulet Corporation (NASDAQ: PODD) announced the appointment of Jonathan "Jay" Mazelsky to its board of directors, effective July 1, 2026, according to a press release from the company.

Mazelsky joins the board as an independent director. He currently serves as Executive Chair of the board of IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., a position he moved into after serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of the animal health diagnostics company from October 2019 to May 2026. During his tenure as CEO, IDEXX revenues and its stock price nearly doubled, according to the release.

Before his time at IDEXX, Mazelsky held senior roles at Philips Healthcare, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy Planning from 2010 to 2012. Earlier, he held roles at Agilent Technologies and Hewlett Packard.

Mazelsky also currently serves on the board of directors of Dentsply Sirona Inc. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Rochester.

Insulet President and CEO Ashley McEvoy said Mazelsky's background and expertise would be relevant as the company works to expand access to its Omnipod product platform. Insulet is headquartered in Acton, Massachusetts, and makes tubeless insulin delivery devices.
