Alaska Communications, an affiliate of ATN International (NASDAQ: ATNI), has appointed Courtland Madock as President and CEO, effective September 1, 2026.

Madock succeeds Paul Fenaroli, who is stepping down in August to focus on his family. Fenaroli will remain with the company for a period to support the transition.

Madock brings more than 18 years of experience in broadband and telecommunications, with prior senior leadership roles at WOW!, Brightspeed, and U.S. Cellular.

Naji Kjoury, chair of the Alaska Communications board of directors, said in a statement: "Courtland is a proven leader who builds customer-focused organizations and delivers results. She brings the experience, leadership, and customer-first mindset needed to help move the company forward."

"I'm honored to join Alaska Communications and build on the strong foundation in place," Madock said. "I look forward to listening, learning, and working together to continue delivering reliable connectivity for Alaskans."

Alaska Communications operates a statewide fiber network and an undersea fiber optic system connecting Alaska to the contiguous United States.
