Kymera Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: KYMR) announced the appointment of Felix J. Baker, Ph.D., as Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding co-founder Bruce Booth, DPhil, who will remain an Independent Director.

Dr. Baker had served as Kymera's Lead Independent Director since joining the board in 2024. He is a Managing Member of Baker Brothers Investments, which he co-founded with his brother Julian Baker in 2000. Dr. Baker holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in Immunology from Stanford University, where he also completed two years of medical school. He also serves on the boards of BeOne Medicines Ltd., Bicycle Therapeutics PLC, Kodiak Sciences, Inc., and Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals International, plc.

Bruce Booth co-founded Kymera in 2016 and has served as Chairman since the company's inception.
