Taysha Gene Therapies launches $200M stock and warrant offering
Taysha Gene Therapies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSHA) announced a proposed underwritten public offering of $200.0 million in shares of common stock and pre-funded warrants to purchase shares of common stock, according to a press release.
The clinical-stage biotechnology company said all securities will be offered by Taysha. The company also intends to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the common stock shares offered under the same terms and conditions.
Jefferies, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Piper Sandler, and Cantor are serving as joint book-running managers for the offering. Baird is acting as lead manager.
The offering is based on a shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 4, 2025, which became automatically effective upon filing. The company noted the offering is subject to market conditions and that there is no assurance as to whether or when it may be completed, or the actual size or terms.
Taysha is focused on developing adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based gene therapies for monogenic diseases of the central nervous system. Its lead clinical program, TSHA-102, is in development for Rett syndrome, a rare neurodevelopmental disorder.
