Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) and Meta announced a multi-generation agreement for Qualcomm to supply data center CPUs to Meta, according to a press release from Qualcomm.

Under the agreement, Qualcomm's Dragonfly C1000 CPU is planned to power Meta's next-generation server fleet. Production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2028, with the arrangement covering future data center capacity expansions as well.

Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon said the agreement with Meta validates the company's approach to data center compute. "We're thrilled to build on our partnership with Meta, expanding from devices to data center," Amon said.

Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company is "excited to continue partnering with Qualcomm Technologies as they design the next generation of CPUs for Meta."

Qualcomm describes the Dragonfly C1000 as targeting performance per watt and total cost of ownership in large-scale data center deployments.
