Group 1 Automotive, Inc. (NYSE: GPI) announced that its Houston dealership formerly known as Sterling McCall Ford has been operating under the name Group 1 Ford of Southwest Houston since November 3, 2025.

The name change is part of a broader rebranding initiative across Group 1's U.S. dealership network. According to the company, the rebrand did not involve a change in ownership, staffing, product offerings, or day-to-day operations.

Group 1 Automotive has owned and operated the southwest Houston location for more than two decades. The dealership is located at 6445 Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas, and serves customers in Bellaire, Sugar Land, and surrounding communities.

"Since taking our new name, our customers have found the same local team they know and trust, now with a clearer connection to the strength and resources of Group 1," said Sebastian Olszewski, General Manager of Group 1 Ford of Southwest Houston.

Group 1 Automotive owns and operates 250 dealerships, 310 franchises, and 32 collision centers in the United States and the United Kingdom, offering 37 vehicle brands.
