US airline stocks rise as crude oil drops below $70

Investing.com -- Major US airline stocks gained on Wednesday as crude oil prices fell below $70 per barrel, marking the lowest level since the start of the Iran war.

Delta Air Lines rose 2.2%, while Southwest Airlines added 2.3%. American Airlines climbed 4%.

United Airlines increased 4.1%, and Alaska Air Group also gained 4.1%. JetBlue Airways posted the largest advance, rising 4.3%.

Crude Oil WTI futures traded below $70 early Wednesday.
