Conduent launches AI customer service platform with translation tools
Conduent Incorporated (Nasdaq: CNDT) has introduced new AI-powered capabilities within its Next Generation CX Platform, according to a company press release. The platform includes real-time translation, AI-driven training simulation, and voice enhancement technologies aimed at contact center operations.
The real-time translation feature supports more than 90 languages, allowing customer service agents to communicate with customers in their preferred language without requiring multilingual hiring or interpreter services.
The AI-driven training simulation tool allows agents to practice customer scenarios and receive coaching based on analysis of voice, chat, and screen interactions. Conduent claims the tool can reduce time to agent proficiency by up to 40% for organizations with seasonal or cyclical service demands.
The platform also includes accent smoothing and noise cancellation features intended to improve audio clarity during customer-agent calls.
"The future of customer experience isn't AI or people, it's AI and people working together," said George Wehbe, President, Commercial Solutions at Conduent. "Our Next Generation CX Platform has arrived. It helps clients reach more customers, onboard agents faster and deliver more consistent service across languages and geographies."
Conduent describes the platform as a modular suite that can be deployed across the customer experience lifecycle, combining automation, agent tools, and analytics.
