LENZ Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: LENZ) and Arrotex Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd. have entered into an exclusive license and commercialization agreement for VIZZ (aceclidine ophthalmic solution) 1.44% in Australia and New Zealand, according to a press release issued June 24, 2026.

Under the agreement, LENZ will receive an upfront payment and a profit share of gross margin from product sales. Arrotex will hold exclusive rights to register and commercialize VIZZ for the treatment of presbyopia in both countries. Specific financial terms were not disclosed.

VIZZ received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval in July 2025 and has been commercially available in the United States since October 2025. The drug is a once-daily eye drop designed to restore near vision for up to 10 hours by causing contraction of the iris sphincter muscle, producing a pinhole effect that extends depth of focus.

LENZ described the Arrotex agreement as its fifth ex-U.S. commercialization partnership for VIZZ. Arrotex is a subsidiary of DBG Health and is based in Australia.

Dennis Bastas, Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of DBG Health, the parent company of Arrotex, noted the agreement would bring the treatment to patients across the two markets.

Presbyopia is an age-related condition affecting near vision, commonly occurring in people over 45. LENZ estimates the condition affects approximately 1.8 billion people globally and 128 million in the United States.
