Infosys (NYSE: INFY) announced a strategic collaboration with Sentara, a not-for-profit healthcare organization, to build a foundation for AI deployment across hospital operations, IT, and clinical support, according to a press release issued June 24, 2026.

Under the agreement, Infosys will deploy its Topaz Fabric platform, described as an agentic services suite that combines infrastructure, data, models, applications, and workflows. The framework is intended to help Sentara scale AI use cases from pilot programs to full production across its enterprise systems.

Sentara operates 12 hospitals in Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina, employs approximately 34,000 people, and serves more than one million health plan members in Virginia and Florida.

The collaboration targets AI applications across care management, employee productivity, and digital patient-facing services, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and responsible deployment.

Jamisson Fowler, SVP and Chief Digital Officer at Sentara, said, "This collaboration helps ensure AI is deployed in ways that genuinely improve how our hospital teams work supporting efficiency, care delivery and the communities we serve while remaining secure, compliant and patient-centered."

Venky Ananth, EVP and Global Head of Healthcare at Infosys, said the focus is on "building a strong enterprise AI foundation spanning architecture, governance and AI-first delivery models so that innovation is operationalized across hospital systems."

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.
