GXO renews frozen logistics contract with Carrefour in Belgium

GXO Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: GXO) has renewed its contract with Carrefour for frozen supply chain operations in Belgium and Luxembourg, according to a press release from the company.



The renewed partnership extends a relationship that spans nearly 50 years. GXO operates a 43,720-square-meter frozen logistics facility in Zellik, Belgium, which includes 23,000 square meters of mezzanine space. The facility uses automated high-bay pallet storage and a shuttle system to support order picking and distribution.



Under the agreement, GXO provides Carrefour with storage, order picking, and distribution services, using a fleet of 40 trucks to supply more than 700 stores across Belgium and Luxembourg.
