Morgan Stanley private credit fund limits redemptions to 5%

June 23, 2026 4:34 PM

Investing.com -- Morgan Stanley's North Haven Private Income Fund received redemption requests for about 11.6% of its outstanding units during the second quarter, the firm said in an investor update dated June 2026.

The fund accepted 5% of outstanding units for repurchase on a prorated basis, meaning approximately 43% of each investor's redemption request was fulfilled. Units will be repurchased at a price equal to the net asset value per unit as of June 30, 2026.

More than half of the second quarter redemption requests came from unitholders whose previous requests were prorated during the first quarter, according to the update.

After accounting for new subscriptions and dividend reinvestments, the net impact of the redemptions on the fund's NAV is approximately $102 million, representing about 3.2% of the company's NAV on March 31, 2026.

The fund's debt-to-NAV ratio stood at 0.97x as of May 31, 2026. The company had more than $2.2 billion in undrawn debt capacity and cash as of the same date.

The fund also maintains a portfolio of more than $400 million of liquid loans, which supports its ability to deploy capital while maintaining flexibility to meet repurchase obligations.
