MGE Energy (NASDAQ: MGEE) announced that James J. Lorenz, Vice President of Energy Operations at Madison Gas and Electric Company, has notified the company of his intention to retire effective December 31, 2026.

Lorenz will continue in his current role until his retirement date. John T. Robson, currently Assistant Vice President of Energy Engineering and Production, will succeed Lorenz as Vice President of Energy Operations effective January 1, 2027.
