Webull launches SPV offering for accredited investors via Monark
Webull (NASDAQ: BULL) has launched a private markets investment product that allows eligible accredited investors to invest in late-stage private companies through special purpose vehicles (SPVs) on its platform, according to a press release.
The offering was developed in partnership with Monark Markets, with SPVs sponsored by Monark Capital Management LLC, an affiliated exempt reporting adviser. Each SPV is structured to provide exposure to a single late-stage private company and is limited to no more than 99 eligible investors per vehicle.
The process allows users to indicate interest in specific private companies through the Webull app. Monark uses those non-binding indications to guide sourcing decisions. Once sufficient interest is identified and an opportunity is sourced, an SPV is established, with subscription and funding handled through the Webull platform.
Anthony Denier, Group President and U.S. CEO of Webull, said the launch reflects the company's "continued effort to broaden access for eligible investors by connecting them with private market opportunities in a structured way, directly within the Webull platform."
Access to each SPV is restricted to investors who qualify as accredited investors and meet applicable eligibility requirements. Webull notes that investments in private securities are speculative, illiquid, and carry a high degree of risk, including the potential loss of the entire investment.
SPVs are described as coming soon to all qualifying users, who must download the latest version of the Webull app to access the feature.
