June 23, 2026 8:31 AM

Microbot Medical Inc. (NASDAQ: MBOT) announced that a Pennsylvania-based academic health system has adopted its LIBERTY Endovascular Robotic System, marking the first adoption of the device in that state, according to a company press release.

The unnamed health system operates multiple hospitals and multispecialty centers serving patients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Microbot said the company now has accounts across seven states in the eastern U.S., with multiple hospitals within those health systems having adopted the LIBERTY System.

The Pennsylvania customer is the second Microbot account with facilities spanning two states. A New York City-based customer also has medical facilities in New Jersey.

Microbot said it transitioned to a full market release of the LIBERTY System in the second quarter and is planning to expand its sales territory to the West Coast. The company also cited a previously announced agreement to expand access to the system across certain U.S. federal healthcare systems, including those serving veterans and military patients.

"This is a very encouraging development and demonstrates continued customer adoption across our sales territories, including some of the most prestigious health systems in the U.S.," said Harel Gadot, CEO, President and Chairman of Microbot Medical.

Gadot added that the company plans to expand its sales footprint into the western U.S. while continuing to build its international market infrastructure.
