Veea and Trollee extend smart retail partnership

June 23, 2026 8:00 AM

Veea Inc. (NASDAQ: VEEA) and TROLLEE Holdings Limited announced an extension of their strategic partnership, originally established in 2018, to combine Veea's edge-AI computing platform with TROLLEE's smart shopping cart and retail robotics technology.

The two companies said the expanded agreement integrates Veea's VeeaONE edge-cloud platform and its AdEdge contextual advertising engine with TROLLEE's smart cart hardware and robotics capabilities. The combined platform is intended to support autonomous store operations, including checkout-free retail, inventory management, and in-store security functions.

TROLLEE Holdings Limited was established in 2025 to focus on commercial expansion of the TROLLEE ecosystem. The company has existing deployments in Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, and the Middle East. The partnership is intended to extend that reach into the Americas and Europe through Veea's existing enterprise relationships in those regions.

According to the announcement, the integrated platform includes features such as shelf-scanning via cart-mounted cameras to trigger restocking workflows, autonomous patrolling units for loss prevention and safety monitoring, and a digital twin of the retail store environment. The system also incorporates tokenized product provenance tracking and targeted in-store advertising delivered at the point of purchase.

"This partnership with TROLLEE is a natural evolution of our vision for the future of retail and autonomous infrastructure," said Allen Salmasi, CEO of Veea Inc.

Thim S Chiew, CEO of TROLLEE Holdings Limited, said the partnership gives TROLLEE's hardware and market experience access to Veea's edge infrastructure, adding that the companies aim to deliver smart retail and commercial AI solutions across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, and Europe under a single platform.

The companies said the platform is also being positioned for use in logistics, warehousing, hospitality, and public spaces, beyond retail environments. The announcement was based on a press release issued by Veea Inc.
