QuidelOrtho names Micah Young as CFO, effective July 6

QuidelOrtho Corporation (Nasdaq: QDEL) has appointed Micah Young as Chief Financial Officer, effective July 6, 2026, according to a company statement.



Young succeeds Joseph M. Busky, who previously announced his retirement. Busky will remain in an advisory role to support the transition.



Young most recently served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Masimo Corporation, a medical technology company, where he joined in 2017. Before Masimo, he held senior finance roles at NuVasive, Inc. and finance and accounting positions at Zimmer Holdings, Inc. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP.



Young holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Criminal Justice from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).



Brian J. Blaser, President and CEO of QuidelOrtho, said Young's "leadership across business strategy, capital allocation, investor relations and financial operations will be valuable as we execute our priorities to improve profitability, enhance cash generation and create long-term shareholder value."
