Comfort Systems USA names new COO and Chief Strategy Officer
Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX) announced two leadership changes set to take effect July 1, 2026, according to a company statement.
Craig Sasser, currently Regional Vice President of the Atlantic Region, will be appointed Chief Operating Officer. Sasser joined Comfort Systems in September 2018 and has held responsibility for both the North and Atlantic regions. Before joining the company, he spent 34 years at a major mechanical, electrical and plumbing company, where he progressed from project management to leading the Mid-Atlantic region. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University and completed the MCAA Advanced Leadership Institute at Babson College.
Trent T. McKenna will remain President of the company.
Separately, Briston Blair will move from his role as Senior Vice President of Innovation and Strategy to the newly titled position of Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. Blair has held his current role since January 2022, having previously served as a Regional Vice President and Senior Growth Strategy and Corporate Development Advisor at the company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from East Carolina University.
Comfort Systems USA provides commercial, industrial and institutional heating, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical contracting services, operating 197 locations across 143 cities in the United States.
