Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ: CHKP) announced it has joined the OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, which allows the company to embed OpenAI models directly into its security products, workflows, and managed services.

According to a press release, the program is open to a limited number of security vendors. Through the partnership, Check Point plans to integrate OpenAI's frontier AI capabilities into customer-facing defenses, with the stated goals of improving threat prevention, faster remediation, and stronger security operations.

The arrangement shifts Check Point's use of OpenAI models from internal applications to direct embedding within customer-facing products. The company said the rollout will be gradual, beginning with controlled defensive uses and expanding as safeguards are validated.

Check Point and OpenAI said they are working together to define standards for deploying frontier AI in security settings, including protections against misuse. The integration is designed to include safety controls, abuse-prevention standards, and scoped outputs intended for enterprise security environments.

"Our partnership with OpenAI represents a shared commitment to putting highly advanced AI to work inside the Check Point defenses customers rely on," said Roi Karo, Chief Strategy Officer at Check Point Software.

No financial terms of the partnership were disclosed.
