Stifel Reiterates Buy Rating on FedEx (FDX) Ahead of Q4 Earnings
Stifel analyst J. Bruce Chan reiterated a Buy rating and $442.00 price target on FedEx (NYSE: FDX).
The analyst commented, "FedEx enters the F4Q26 print with the story shifting from proof-of-concept to execution durability. We view upcoming results as the first major bridge between the old consolidated FedEx and the new, parcel-focused entity. Freight will still be in reported numbers because the separation occurred after fiscal year-end, but management commentary, guidance and investor attention should all be on the ex-Freight earnings power of the business, in our view. We continue to believe that parcel pricing remains a tale of two cities, with a competitive economy market, but a more disciplined priority market and both FedEx and UPS leaning into yield and margin restoration. Demand remains fragile, but stable, in our view. As such, we expect the market will be focused on parcel execution: what the standalone business looks like, how much stranded cost remains, how quickly those costs can be removed, and how the second half of CY26 will materialize."
