Baystate Health, a not-for-profit health system in western Massachusetts, is expanding its technology partnership with Oracle Health (NYSE: ORCL) to deploy a suite of AI-powered products across its hospitals, medical practices, and health plan.

The health system, which serves more than 800,000 people across five hospitals and more than 80 medical practices, plans to implement Oracle Health EHR, Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent, Oracle Health Patient Accounting, Oracle Health AI Data Platform, and Oracle Health Patient Portal. The rollout will also extend to its health plan, Health New England.

According to a joint statement, the expanded collaboration is intended to reduce administrative burden on clinicians, improve data interoperability, and create a unified digital experience for patients to manage appointments and access health information.

Baystate Health also cited plans to integrate Mercy Medical Center into its network through a planned corporate affiliation scheduled for Nov. 1, 2026, pending regulatory approval. The Oracle Health platform is intended to support that integration through a unified technology infrastructure.

"By reimagining our partnership with Oracle Health, we're establishing the foundation that will strengthen care delivery and give clinicians time to focus on what matters most," said Clara Guixa, Chief Information and Digital Officer at Baystate Health.

Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, said the partnership is aimed at reducing administrative tasks that draw clinicians away from patient care.

Baystate Health has maintained a relationship with Oracle Health for more than 20 years. The health system employs approximately 13,000 caregivers.
