Syntec Optics receives nearly $4M in life sciences purchase orders
Syntec Optics Holdings (NASDAQ: OPTX) announced it received nearly $4 million in U.S. life sciences purchase orders, according to a company press release issued June 22, 2026.
The orders span a range of products for applications including surgical robotics, DNA sequencing, biomedical visualization, ophthalmology, and veterinary care. The company said the contracts are expected to be completed in 2026.
The announcement follows a previously disclosed $4.6 million in orders for laser blood analysis optics.
"Securing over $4 million in orders underscores the trust our integrators and partners place in Syntec Optics to deliver on the most rigorous standards in biomedical technology," said Matt Carey, VP of Business Development at Syntec Optics.
Dean Rudy, CFO of Syntec Optics, said the company is "delivering on pace to complete these 2026 orders for long-life-cycle products."
Syntec Optics is headquartered in Rochester, New York, and describes itself as one of the largest custom optics and photonics manufacturers in the United States.
