Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK) announced the availability of FactoryTalk ResilientEdge, a manufacturing execution platform designed to support automated production operations, according to a company press release dated June 18, 2026.

The product is built on FactoryTalk Optix and integrates with Rockwell Automation's existing portfolio, including its Plex Manufacturing Execution System. The platform combines edge computing with cloud capabilities, allowing operations to continue if network connectivity is lost.

FactoryTalk ResilientEdge unifies plant models, connectivity, execution and analytics into a single framework. The company says the system is designed to reduce the divide between operational technology and information technology in manufacturing environments.

"At a time when 95% of manufacturers are advancing AI and machine learning initiatives, FactoryTalk ResilientEdge enables a new class of manufacturing execution," said Anthony Murphy, vice president of product management at Rockwell Automation. "Manufacturers can scale automation, intelligence, and autonomy across their operations while preserving the economic and scalability advantages of the cloud, helping manufacturers deploy faster and lower their total cost of ownership."

The platform supports analytics, artificial intelligence training and enterprise orchestration through its cloud layer, while delivering low-latency execution at the edge. Rockwell Automation states the system is interoperable across different production environments and is optimized for its own ecosystem.
