Odysight.ai gets Honeywell Aerospace APU proof-of-concept order
Odysight.ai (NASDAQ/TASE: ODYS) has received a purchase order from Honeywell Aerospace's APU Division to conduct a proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluation of its visual sensing platform on Honeywell Aerospace Auxiliary Power Units (APU), according to a press release.
The PoC will assess how Odysight.ai's ruggedized sensors, edge AI, and predictive analytics can support maintenance decision-making across Honeywell's APU portfolio. Initial work will focus on the APU air intake, with a potential path to expand across the broader APU assembly if results are successful.
Odysight.ai's platform deploys miniature visual sensors in hard-to-access areas to enable continuous, high-resolution internal monitoring. Onboard AI and machine learning analytics process visual data to detect anomalies, wear patterns, and early-stage degradation. The company states the technology can identify foreign object damage, contamination, corrosion, and partial flow restrictions before they develop into unplanned maintenance events.
Honeywell Aerospace has more than 10,000 APUs in service across global defense and commercial fleets, according to the press release.

Odysight.ai is incorporated in Nevada and has subsidiaries in Europe and Israel. The company has previously worked on projects with NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense.
