Comtech launches Allerium Mira cloud-native 9-1-1 call platform

June 18, 2026 9:02 AM

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced the availability of Allerium Mira, a cloud-native call handling platform designed to support Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) emergency communications, according to a press release issued June 18, 2026.

Mira, which was introduced last year, is now entering agency environments as public safety organizations evaluate platforms capable of handling voice, text-to-9-1-1, and other communication workflows. The platform is built on a microservices-based architecture and can be deployed across shared, private, hybrid, or edge environments.

The platform integrates with Allerium's Next Generation Core Services and Emergency Services Internet Protocol Network environment. Early agency activity is focused on validating operational workflows, interoperability with existing public safety technologies, scalability, and user experience.

"Emergency communications have transformed dramatically, but many call handling environments are still based on workflows intended for another era," said Nora Ligrani, Product Management Director at Allerium. "Mira was developed to modernize that experience with a platform that is flexible, intuitive, and capable of evolving with the changing needs of public safety."

"The transition to NG9-1-1 is about far more than replacing legacy infrastructure," said Jeff Robertson, President of Allerium. "It's about creating a more adaptable, connected, and intelligent foundation for how emergency communications operate moving forward."

Allerium Mira is scheduled to be featured at the NENA 2026 Conference & Expo on June 29–30 in Columbus, Ohio.
