Quantum Computing Inc. (NASDAQ: QUBT) has entered into a framework agreement with Planck Dynamics, a Netherlands-based defense technology company, to deploy QCi's NeuraWave photonic reservoir computer for AI applications, according to a press release dated June 18, 2026.

Under the terms of the agreement, Planck Dynamics has issued an initial purchase order for five NeuraWave systems, with delivery expected during 2026. The framework establishes a pathway for scaled deployment of up to 100 systems, representing a potential aggregate value in excess of $10 million. Future purchase orders beyond the initial five units are contingent on Planck Dynamics achieving specified program milestones and other conditions, and are not guaranteed.

Planck Dynamics is a portfolio company of NUNC Capital BV, a Netherlands-based defense technology investment firm. The customer's program targets electro-optic AI processing across commercial and government markets, with a focus on edge computing environments requiring low latency and power efficiency.

"We believe photonic reservoir computing represents an important new computing architecture for AI workloads that must operate at the edge, where data are generated," said Yong Meng Sua, Chief Technology Officer at QCi.

Nathan Eskue, Managing Director of Planck Dynamics, said the company partnered with QCi to develop AI applications for NATO and allied forces, citing the need for low-power, edge-native computing capabilities.

The two companies plan to commence technical kickoff activities and execute a formal Statement of Work covering development milestones, integration objectives, and deployment schedules. QCi is headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey, and describes itself as a quantum optics and integrated photonics company.
