Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK) announced a planned integration between its Rubrik Agent Cloud platform and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, according to a press release issued at the AWS Summit in New York.

The integration, which has not yet launched, would allow Rubrik's intent-based security controls to feed into AgentCore's policy engine, which enforces real-time controls across agent-to-tool, agent-to-LLM, and agent-to-agent communications. Enforcement decisions would be made at the gateway, outside the agent's reasoning loop.

Once available, organizations using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore would gain access to several Rubrik Agent Cloud capabilities, including automated agent discovery with visibility into risk and access permissions, the ability to reverse destructive agent actions, and a unified control panel for managing AI security policies alongside AWS and hybrid cloud data.

Devvret Rishi, General Manager of AI at Rubrik, said in the statement: "Cybersecurity leaders estimate that in the next year, half or more of attacks they face will be driven by agentic AI."

Rubrik noted that existing Rubrik Agent Cloud customers would be able to connect their current policies to AgentCore upon availability. The company did not provide a specific release date for the integration.
